What is YMNE?
YMNE (pronounced Yamune) is a plant-based skincare and haircare brand from India, founded by Rupal Asodiya. Our formulas are simple and made with care, using ingredients like butterfly pea, saffron, orange peel and 19 herbs. Every product is made without parabens, SLS or artificial colors, and we print that promise on every pack.
Yamunaji is more than a river. In Indian tradition she is honoured as the goddess of shringar, the art of adornment and divine beauty. She stands for a kind of beauty that grows from devotion and care, and she is the inspiration behind everything we make.
In Sanskrit, when Devi Yamunaji is called with love, respect and devotion, she is addressed as “Yamune”. Our name comes from that address. It is a reminder to keep our work gentle, honest and rooted in care.

Where does shringar really begin? Before jewellery, before makeup, the first thing a person tends to is their own skin and hair.
Healthy, glowing skin and strong hair are the truest and first form of shringar. That thought is where our journey into natural skincare and haircare began.
Meet the founder
YMNE was started by Rupal Asodiya, who brings deep experience in Ayurveda to her work. After creating the Powder Face Wash and the Butterfly Pea Gel, she felt a pull to offer something more: care that is good, meaningful and natural, made for everyone and easy to use every day.
She wanted people to feel closer to nature and to experience real, natural beauty. That thought became YMNE.
